Two arrested in connection with Hanwella murder

Hanwella Police have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with the stabbing to death of a man on the road to Kumari Ella Falls at Thummodara on August 6. 

Following an investigation into the incident by Hanwella Police, one suspect, a 24-year-old resident of Dolawatta, was apprehended in Warakapola yesterday. 

Further interrogation of the suspect has led to the arrest of a 47-year-old resident of Hewadunna, who is believed to have aided abetted in the crime. 

Hanwella Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
