Sri Lankan worker remittances in first 7 months up by 10.3%

The remittances from Sri Lankan overseas workers has surged to USD 566.8 million in July 2024, bringing the total for the first seven months of the year to USD 3.71 billion. 

This marks a 10.3% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
