Over 29 election-related complaints received within 24 hours - EC

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka says that a total of 29 complaints have been received within the last 24 hours, pertaining to the 2024 Presidential Election.

Among them, 15 complaints were filed with the National Election Complaint Management Centre, and 11 were reported to the District Election Complaint Management Centre.

Accordingly, a total of 29 complaints were reported including 26 complaints related to election law violations and 03 other complaints.

Furthermore, a total of 366 complaints have been received so far during the period from July 31 to yesterday (12), said the Election Commission.

Accordingly, this includes 355 election law violations, one act of violence and ten other election law violations.
