Second school term to end on Friday

The Ministry of Education has issued a notice regarding the completion of the second term for both government and government-approved private Sinhala and Tamil medium schools in 2024.
Accordingly, the second term of all government and government-approved schools (Sinhala and Tamil medium) will end on Friday (August 16).
Meanwhile, the schools are scheduled to reopen for the first phase of the third term on August 26 (Monday).
