Over 2,400 Dengue cases reported so far in August 2024

Over 2,400 cases of dengue infections have been recorded so far in the month of August, the National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU) reported.

Community Specialist Doctor of NDCU Anoma Deepthi said that the highest number of cases were recorded in the Western Province and the Kandy District.

Meanwhile, a total of 17 dengue-related deaths have been reported so far in 2024, according to the NDCU.
