Woman attacked to death over personal dispute in Horana

A woman has reportedly been attacked to death with a sharp weapon in the Siriltonwatta area of Horana.

Police stated that the murder has allegedly been carried out by a neighbor and his brother over a personal dispute last evening (24).

Two brothers from the same family, aged 40 and 44, who are residents of Kananwila, have been arrested by the police in connection with the incident.

The deceased is a 36-year-old resident of the Siriltonwatta area of the Meewanapalana area, police said.

Horana Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
