Ranil and Sajith to unveil election manifestos today

The election manifesto of President Ranil Wickremesinghe who is contesting the presidential election as an independent candidate will be officially launched at a special ceremony in Colombo this morning (29).

It is reported that all the MPs representing the ruling party as well as those supporting Ranil Wickramasinghe in the presidential election have been invited for the unveiling event.

Meanwhile, the presidential election manifesto of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is also scheduled to be unveiled today.

MP Lakshman Kiriella mentioned that Samagi Jana Balawegaya’s (SJB) Presidential Candidate and Leader of the Opposition, Sajith Premadasa has planned to first present the election manifesto to the Venerable Mahanayake Theros.
