Over 100 more election violation complaints reported within 24 hours – EC

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka says that 118 more complaints have been received pertaining to the 2024 Presidential Election. 

Accordingly, a total of 1,374 election complaints have been reported between July 31 and yesterday (28), the Election Commission said.

Out of the complaints received thus far, a majority of complaints have been received related to election law violations and the figure is 1,285.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission said that 06 acts of violence and 56 other complaints have been reported.
