More election complaints filed ahead of presidential election – EC

The Election Commission has reported a significant increase in complaints related to the upcoming presidential election.

Accordingly, a total of 1482 election complaints have been reported between July 31 and yesterday (29), the Election Commission said.

Out of the complaints received thus far, a majority of complaints have been received related to election law violations and the figure is 1419.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission said that 07 acts of violence and 56 other complaints have been reported.
