Presidential Election-related complaints exceed 1,500

The number of complaints received by the Election Commission regarding the upcoming presidential election has further increased.

The commission issued a statement stating that the total number of election complaints received from July 31 to yesterday (Aug. 30) has increased to 1,592.

Out of the total number of complaints received, the highest number of complaints are related to violations of election laws and that is 1,526.

The Election Commission has stated that 08 complaints related to acts of violence and 58 other complaints were also reported.

The Presidential Election is scheduled to be held on September 21.
