MP Jagath Kumara crosses over to opposition

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s (SLPP) Colombo District MP Jagath Kumara crossed over to the Opposition in Parliament after delivering a special statement today (03).

On August 29 2024, MP Jagath Kumara pledged his support to Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) presidential candidate, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming presidential election.

He entered Parliament from Colombo District representing SLPP during 2020 General Election.
