Wanted murder suspect arrested in Mankulam

The Special Crime Investigation Unit of Vavuniya has arrested a suspect wanted for murder.
Police stated that the relevant suspect was arrested for murdering a person with a sharp weapon in the Katpagapuram area of the Poovarasankulam police division on August 29.
The suspect was arrested last afternoon (03) at the Mankulam Junction in Mankulam police division.
The arrested suspect is a 29-year-old resident of Vauniya.
Poovarasankulam Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
