SLPP places deposits for Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has placed deposits for the party candidates to contest the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections, the party’s General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam said.
The nominations for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha in the 2024 Local Government Elections were called from September 09 to September 12.
Accordingly, the relevant nominations are being accepted at the Galle District Secretariat, according to the Election Commission.
Meanwhile, the announcement related to the accepting of nominations has been published by the Returning Officer in-charge of Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha, the election commission said.
