Person injured in Badowita shooting succumbs to injuries

The 31-year-old person injured and admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital, after he was shot last night (15) at Badowita in Dehiwala, has succumbed to his injuries after being transferred to the Colombo National Hospital, the police said.
Police said that the shooting had been carried out by two unidentified men who had arrived on a motorcycle at around 08.30 p.m. last night.
The 31-year-old victim, identified as Tharindu Madushan Suwaris, was a resident of the Badowita area, according to police.
