Four police officers arrested over extortion of Rs. 1.4 million from house

Four police officers have been arrested by Modara Police for allegedly entering a residence in Colombo 15, threatening its occupants and extorting a sum of Rs. 1.4 million from them. 

Accordingly, two Constables and a Sergeant attached to the Bloemendhal Police Station, as well as an officer from the Colombo North Intelligence Division, have been arrested by the Modara Police.
