2024 Presidential Election: Polonnaruwa District postal vote results released

The postal vote result of the Polonnaruwa district in 2024 Presidential Election has been released by the Election Commission.
National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has received the highest number of postal votes in the district with a total of 11,768 votes (61.26%).
Samagi Jana Sandhanaya candidate Sajith Premadasa (4,120) has received the second highest number of votes followed by Independent candidate President Ranil Wickremesinghe who has polled 2,762.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Namal Rajapaksa has polled 188 postal votes while ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance candidate Dilith Jayaweera has obtained 56 votes.
