Presidential Election: Matale District postal vote results

The postal vote result of the Matale District in the 2024 Presidential Election has been released by the Election Commission.
National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has received the highest number of postal votes in the district with a total of 12,186 votes.
Independent candidate President Ranil Wickremesinghe (4,243) has received the second highest number of votes followed by Samagi Jana Sandhanaya candidate Sajith Premadasa who has polled 3,816
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Namal Rajapaksa has polled 372 while ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance Dilith Jayaweera has obtained 128 votes.
