Sajith wins in Gampola, Kopai and Pelamdulla

The 2024 presidential election results of the Gampola, Kopai and Pelamdulla polling divisions have been released with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa victorious in all three polling divisions.

Samagi Jana Sandhanaya candidate Sajith Premadasa has received the highest number of votes in the Gampola polling division in Kandy District with a total of 31,503 votes.

Sajith Premadasa -  31,503 
Anura Kumara Dissanayake –  28,750 
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 21, 991

Meanwhile, Premadasa has also topped the Kopai polling division in the Jaffna District with 12,639 votes.

Sajith Premadasa – 12,639
P.  Ariyanethiran –  11,410
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 7,654

Premadasa also secured victory in the Pelamdulla polling division in the Ratnapura District with 27,599 votes.

Sajith Premadasa – 27,599
Anura Kumara Dissanayake –  25,573
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 16,826
