Gazette issued detailing functions and duties of new Ministries

The Gazette notification outlining the respective subjects, functions, duties, and institutions of the newly established ministries has been published.

The Extraordinary Gazette notification has been issued by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Friday (September 27).

The Gazette Notification No. 2403/53 – 2024, detailing the division of institutions and portfolios under the new ministries, was published yesterday (27).

The President, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, issued this gazette in accordance with the authority granted under Article 44(1) of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Additionally, the short-term cabinet of the new government was recently appointed.
