Daham Sirisena and Rajika Wickremesinghe join MJP

Former MP Rajika Wickremesinghe and Daham Sirisena joined the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP) led by entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera.

hye received their letters of appointment from party leader Dilith Jayaweera at the MJP head office in Colombo today (03).

Rajika Wickremesinghe has been appointed as the MJP’s Kegalle District Organisers and Dedigama electorate organizer while Daham Sirisena has been appointed Polonnaruwa District Organiser.

Meanwhile, Chalindu Kumarasinghe has been appointed as the Polonnaruwa District Coordinator andThakshila Premasiri as organiser for Udunuwara, Kandy. 

Daham is the son of former Polonnaruwa District Parliamentarian and former President Maithripala Sirisena. 

He had previously served as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) electoral organizer for Polonnaruwa West and as President of the Polonnaruwa District SLFP Youth League.

Rajika Wickremesinghe is a former National List Member of Parliament of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
