Fire breaks out at building in Pettah

A fire has reportedly broken out on the third floor of a building on Maliban Street in Pettah. 

The Colombo Fire Brigade has managed to douse the flames after deploying seven fire trucks to the scene, Ada Derana reporter said.

The building in question had been used as a storage facility, according to the reporter.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined while police have initiated investigations into the incident.
