PM Harini meets university students’ unions

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has held discussions with the university students’ unions on Thursday (17).

During the discussion, attention was drawn to many unsolved problems faced by the university students so far regarding their studies and student welfare, the Prime Minister’s Media Division said.

A group of representatives from many student associations including the Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF), Students - Mass Power for Right to Education, Medical Faculty Students’ Action Committee and all Medical Faculty Student Associations, Inter University Bikkhu Federation, Inter Higher National Diploma Students’ Federation, Ocean University Students’ Union, Student Union of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Engineering Faculty Students’ Union - University of Moratuwa had participated in this discussion.
