Two youths drown in Kahatagasdigiliya

Two youths, aged 24 and 34, have drowned while bathing in the ‘Ihala Kanhidigama’ lake in Kahatagasdigiliya, according to police.
The victims were residents of Polgahawela and Pujapitiya.
Investigations have revealed that the two drowned last evening (20) after drinking alcohol with two others and then going to bathe in the ‘Ihala Kanhidigama’ lake.
The bodies have been sent to Kahatagasdigiliya Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and further investigations are underway by Kahatagasdigiliya Police.
