Fire breaks out at Kudawella Fisheries Harbour

Three fishing vessels have been damaged in a fire that broke out this morning (21) in a fishing vessel that was docked at the Kudawella Fisheries Harbour.
Ada Derana reporter said that a fire broke out in the multi-day fishing vessel “Tushani” and the vessel was destroyed by the fire.
Another multi-day fishing vessel and a small vessel docked near that boat were also damaged due to the fire.
Police suspect that the fire may have been caused by a gas leak.
Tangalle Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
