Namal leaves CID after recording statement

Former Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa has left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), a short while ago, after providing a statement for about two and a half hours.

Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the CID at around 9.00 a.m. this morning (24) to provide a statement following an anonymous complaint regarding the receipt of funds during the 2010 - 2015 period.
