The district-level voter turnout for the 2024 General Election has already exceeded 55 percent in several districts, according to reports.

Accordingly, the voter turnout percentages of several districts as at 2.00 p.m. today (Nov.14) are as follows: 

Gampaha - 52% 
Kalutara - 45%
Jaffna - 42%
Kilinochchi - 46%
Mannar - 55% 
Batticaloa - 47% 
Trincomalee - 51% 
Monaragala - 47%
Kandy - 50%
Matale - 55%
Nuwara Eliya - 60%
Galle - 49%
Matara - 50%
Hambantota - 48%
Badulla - 54%
Ratnapura - 55%
Kegalle - 50%
Digamadulla - 42%
Kurunegala - 38%
Puttalam - 41%
Anuradhapura - 52%
Polonnaruwa - 51%
