‘Sarvajana Balaya’ aiming to make a mark in Sri Lankan politics

The leader of ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance, Gampaha District parliamentary candidate entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera voted in the 2024 General Election this afternoon (14) at the polling station established at Sri Chandrarama Viharaya in Nugegoda.

Speaking to the media after casting his vote, Jayaweera stated: “Today marks another step in our journey towards building a happier nation. While our progress may be gradual, what matters the most is moving forward positively with a program that resonates with the people’s needs.”

“Throughout this year’s election process, we have focused on a logical approach, aiming to gain public support through a clear, people-centered agenda”, he added.

Furthermore, he expressed that the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ aims to make a significant mark in Sri Lankan politics while representing the opposition in the Parliament.
