NPP wins 4 seats, SJB secures one in Polonnaruwa District

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Polonnaruwa District in the 2024 General Election with the National People’s Power (NPP) polling more than 68.67% of the total votes in the district. 

NPP has polled 159,010 votes to win the district while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is second with 43,822 votes (18.92%).

Accordingly, the NPP has secured 05 seats in the district while the SJB and the SLPP have won a seat each in the district. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 159,010 (4 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 43,822 (1 seat)
 ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 8,587
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 5,153
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 4,646
