NPP gets 6 seats, SJB wins 2 in Puttalam District

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Puttalam District in the 2024 General Election with the National People’s Power (NPP) polling more than 63% of the total votes in the district.

NPP has polled 239,576 votes to win the district while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is second with 63,327 votes (17.3%).

Accordingly, the NPP has secured 6 seats in the district while the SJB has won 2 seats in the district.

National People’s Power (NPP) – 239,576 (6 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 65,679 (2 seats)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 15,741
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 14,624
United Democratic Voice (UDV) – 9,490
