Badulla District preferential vote results released

The preferential vote results of the Badulla District in the 2024 General Election have been released.

 

NPP’s Samantha Vidyaratna has polled the highest number of preferential votes in the Badulla District. 

 

Former MPs Chaminda Wijesiri and Nayana Wasalathilake have received the highest preferential votes from the SJB to secure the two parliamentary seats while NDF’s single seat for the district was secured by former MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake.
