The first session of the Tenth Parliament convened on November 21, during which newly appointed Members of Parliament took their oaths. At the time, the four National List Member names allocated to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) was yet to be published via a Gazzete notification.

However, on December 12, the Election Commission issued the Gazette notification naming the National List Members of Parliament, three of which, who were sworn in today.

Additionally, the National List position allocated to the New Democratic Front had also remained vacant. On December 11th, the Gazette notification for this position was issued, and Mohomed Faiszer Musthapha was sworn in today as a Member of the Tenth Parliament.

It is noteworthy that Sujeewa Senasinghe, Mano Ganesan, and Faiszer Musthapha have previously served as Members of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
