Sri Lanka’s legendary fast bowler Lasith Malinga unveiled his maiden book, titled "Killer", at a grand launch event held in Colombo yesterday afternoon (20).

The book, authored by Malinga, delves into 21 fascinating facts about bowling, offering insights into the art of fast bowling which made him a cricketing icon.

The launch event was graced by several former cricketing legends, including Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardena, Chaminda Vaas, Ajantha Mendis, and Marvan Atapattu, along with many other former players.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Chairman Shammi Silva, and other cricket officials, also attended the event. As a symbolic gesture, the first copy of ‘Killer’ was presented by Malinga’s father to Shammi Silva, marking a memorable moment in the ceremony.

Malinga, renowned for his unique bowling style and exceptional contributions to cricket, continues to inspire the next generation of fast bowlers through this new venture, providing invaluable knowledge to aspiring cricketers and fans alike.
