Govt. allocates Rs. 90 billion for public sector salary increments?

Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala states that an amount of Rs. 90 billion has been allocated from the 2025 Budget to increase the salaries of the public sector employees.

Speaking at an event held in Thambuttegama, Wijepala assured that several steps will be taken in the near future to ensure a transformative change in the public service.
