The teaser of the highly anticipated Telugu fantasy action-adventure film Mirai: Super Yodha, which features scenes shot on the iconic Nine Arch Bridge in Sri Lanka, has now been officially released.

The video showcases several visually striking sequences filmed on and around the renowned Nine Arch Bridge.

On October 8, 2024, the Railways Department of Sri Lanka announced that, due to the filming of an Indo–Sri Lankan joint production on the Nine Arch Bridge between Ella and Demodara on the Upcountry Railway Line, train services would be adjusted from October 9 to October 15, 2024. During that period, upcountry trains operated only between Colombo Fort and Ella Railway Stations between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

The department noted that, since the screening of the film was expected to generate additional tourist interest in Sri Lanka, the filming had been approved by the Ministry of Transport. Accordingly, train services were planned to accommodate the shoot while minimizing inconvenience to travelers.

Mirai, starring HanuMan fame Teja Sajja, is one of the most eagerly awaited Indian films of 2025. This upcoming action-adventure film presents a bold new world where Indian Itihaasa collides with high-octane storytelling. At the heart of the narrative is the immensely talented Teja Sajja.

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai follows the journey of a fearless Super Yodha entrusted with safeguarding nine divine scriptures that determine the fate of humanity. The newly released teaser delivers a pulse-pounding glimpse into this gripping saga, with every frame brimming with intrigue and grand scale.

With his fierce transformation, Teja Sajja continues to redefine the modern Indian hero. Opposite him, Manchu Manoj delivers a powerful and menacing performance as the wielder of the enigmatic Black Sword, setting the stage for a confrontation fans are eagerly anticipating.

Speaking about his experience, Teja Sajja said, “An epic adventure where Indian Itihaasas meet modern storytelling — Mirai introduces children to our rich heritage through a thrilling and imaginative superhero film.”

Director Karthik Gattamneni added, “With Mirai, we set out to create a world where the timeless essence of Indian Itihaasa meets the pulse and thrill of a modern action-adventure. It’s our humble attempt to present an Indian story to the world in a way that has never been seen before.”

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, and featuring Gowra Hari’s electrifying musical score along with cutting-edge visuals, Mirai promises to usher in a new era of storytelling that blends ancient heritage with contemporary cinematic spectacle.

The teaser has sparked excitement across social media, with fans and cinephiles praising it as a bold and refreshing step forward for Indian cinema.

The film stars Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, alongside Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Shriya Saran. Mirai is slated for release on September 5, 2025.
