Court issues warrant against MP Asoka Ranwala over road accident case

The Mahara Magistrate’s Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of National People’s Power (NPP) Member of Parliament, Asoka Ranwala.

The order was issued after MP Ranwala failed to appear in court for a case concerning a road accident that occurred in Sapugaskanda.

Accordingly, Additional Magistrate Bandara Ilangasinghe directed that a warrant be issued against MP Asoka Ranwala.
