Govt to provide permanent appointments in state sector for another 9,800 individuals

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to provide permanent appointments to nearly 9,800 individuals recruited to state institutions on temporary, casual, substitute, contract or relief basis.
The joint cabinet paper in this regard has been presented by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
Accordingly, the Cabinet has approved the joint resolution furnished by the President and the Minister of Public Administration for the issuance of a circular containing the necessary provisions relating to the granting of permanent appointments to the employees.
