
The United National Party (UNP) today accused the government of attempting to save face by getting down Indian celebrities and showing a rugby festivity.
The public cannot be deceived, no matter what festival is shown, UNP Spokesperson MP Gayantha Karunathilaka said.
He questioned why the government is not organizing a festival to uplift ‘volleyball,’ which is the national sport of Sri Lanka.
