Supreme Court orders to take in more students

The Supreme Court in solving the 2011 A/L Z score issue has ordered to take 5609 additional students for the current year in addition to the normal intake of 21500.


 

Previously the Supreme Court had recommended a solution proposed by the University Grants Commission (UGC), for the A/L z-score issue, where 4,928 additional students were to be enrolled into universities. This proposal previously recommended by the Supreme Court was among four solutions placed by the UGC.
