Gotabaya vows to eradicate drugs from Colombo

Defense and Urban Development Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa stated that efforts to eradicate the underworld and illegal narcotics from Colombo will continue, as they are a threat to developing countries.
The Secretary stated that when he visits certain areas in Colombo the public constantly request him to eradicate drugs.
Drugs and the underworld is a threat to developing nations, he said at an event at the Colombo Municipal Council auditorium today (01).
Mayor of Colombo AJM Muzammil who also attended the event, during which the official website of the CMC was launched, commended the assistance of the Defense Secretary for the uplifting of Colombo.
