Two persons were arrested in possession of two locally manufactured firearms in the Bulathsinhala following a raid by the police.
The two suspects were residents of the Meegahakumbura and Paragoda areas, police stated.
Both suspects will be presented to the Matugama Magistrate Court today (March 12), the Bulathsinhala police stated while further investigations are being conducted.
