Proposals on electricity tariff revision to be handed over tomorrow

Ten proposals will be handed over by the National Electricity Consumers Enterprise to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka tomorrow (March 28) against the electricity tariff revision which is set to be implemented.

 

The enterprise has further proposed a plan in which electricity tariffs are not increased while the burden on the Ceylon Electricity Board and the public will also not be increased.

 

Tomorrow is the final day in which the public can share its views on the upcoming tariff revision while 110 Electricity Consumer Organizations around the island are due to submit their views and proposals tomorrow.
