A married couple has been hacked to death in the Mahasenpura area in Pulmudai this morning, police said.
Police have uncovered information that the 39-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were murdered by a woman, who has fled the area following the incident.
Police are conducting further investigations to locate and arrest her.
