UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara resigned from his parliamentary seat a short while ago. Jayasekara made a special speech in parliament stating that he will contest under the UPFA for the upcoming North Western Provincial Council elections.
He added that he will work to bring a resounding victory to the government in the North Western Province.
