Six held for illegally entering country

Sri Lankan Navy have arrested 6 persons, including a woman and 3 chidlren, who had entered the country illegally via sea route from India.
Naval troops attached to SLNS Thammanna of the North Central Naval Command on information received arrested the illegal immigrants in the General Area Urumalai on Monday (August 19), navy said.
There were two men, a woman and three children among the arrested persons who had reached ashore from India.
They were handed over to Thalaimannar Police for further investigations, navy media unit said.
