Showers and thunder showers forecasted in several areas

Several areas all over the island may experience sporadic showers or thunder showers today (September 3), the Meteorological Department stated.

 

It reported that showers may be experienced in the Western, Southern and Eastern provinces during the morning while thunders showers will be accompanied with strong winds in those areas as well.

 

The Met Department also stated that seas off the coasts from Puttalam across Galle to Pottuvil will be rough from time to time.
