Elections Secretariat to crackdown on violations during final days

The Elections Secretariat has appointed special teams to monitor and investigate violations of election laws during the latter stages of the provincial council elections in the Northern, North Western and Central Provinces.
A spokesman for the Elections Secretariat stated that six new teams have been appointed to look into this matter while adding that reports of violations have escalated as the Election Day draws near.
The Secretariat also stated that it expects complaints to increase further in the coming days and have planned to step up its actions against such violations while adding that the appointed teams have already begun work in the relevant areas.
