24-hour water cut in Kelaniya and Wattala

The water supply to Kelaniya and Wattala will be interrupted for 24 hours from 10am onwards today (September 17), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated.

 

The water cut will be imposed in order to connect the old 450mm pipeline on the Thelangapatha road in Wattala to the new pipeline.

 

Areas including Kelaniya, the Fish Market road, and Meenagahawatta road, Wattala Thelangapatha, Hekitta Ela road to Malwada road, Weliamuna, Hendala old Negombo road, Avariyawatta, Dumriyapala road, Hendala junction to Negombo Adi 20 road, Welikadamulla and Dik-Ovita will experience the water cut.
