Fire breaks out at factory in Biyagama FTZ

A fire broke at a factory within the Biyagama Free Trade Zone today. The Police Spokesman’s Office said the fire erupted inside a factory which had been closed for the past two years.
However, the flames have already been extinguished by personnel from the Biyagama Police and the fire brigade of the Free Trade Zone.
No casualties have been reported from the fire while Biyagama Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
