Sri Lanka Navy today arrested thirty Indian fishermen and their seven trawlers for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) and venturing into Sri Lankan waters.
Thirty Indian fishermen and seven boats have been captured while poaching in seas off Nainativu, Navy media Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said.
The fishermen are reportedly from Rameswaram town in southern Tamil Nadu.
