March demanding Gnanasara Thero’s release to conclude in Colombo today

The “Justice for the Robe – National Pledge Offering and Freedom March,” organised under the leadership of the Maha Sangha calling for the release of Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, is scheduled to reach Colombo today (15), marking the conclusion of the march.

The foot march commenced on October 10 at the premises of the historic Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and proceeded through Kadugannawa, Kegalle, Warakapola and Nittambuwa before concluding in Kadawatha yesterday (14).  

Accordingly, the march is scheduled to resume from Kadawatha this morning and proceed to Colombo.
